Dr. Allison Siebern

Dr. Allison Siebern, PhD, DAc, LAc, CBSM is a neuroscience-focused Clinical Psychologist and Doctor of Acupuncture with specialization in sleep, mood, and neurological health. Dr. Siebern is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the Stanford School of Medicine Sleep Center, the birthplace of clinical sleep medicine and pioneering sleep research. Dr. Siebern completed her sleep fellowship at Stanford and then joined the faculty full time from 2010 to 2015. Dr. Siebern is the Clinic Director and Founder of Integrative Sleep Wake Health, PLLC in the Raleigh, NC area. 


Dr. Siebern has been working in the field of sleep medicine for over 15 years and is board certified in behavioral sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Siebern blends her training and expertise in neuroscience-based acupuncture, cognitive behavioral medicine, psychophysiology, qEEG, near-infrared transcranial photobiomodulation, and clinical neuroscience to offer clients a variety of options to ultimately improve quality of life. She has been published in peer reviewed journals, national media outlets, has acted as a consultant with companies on sleep and scientific psychology topics, and serves on the editorial board for Sleep Science and Practice. Dr. Siebern served as one of three Scientific Sleep Advisors for Fitbit, Inc on the sleep stages project sharing her sleep expertise with Fitbit’s research and development team and as Head Sleep Science Advisor for Proper Labs, Inc in the development of sleep coaching.
