Troubleshooting the most common LIGHT device issues

Your journey with the Neuronic LIGHT is about to begin! Whether it has just arrived or is on its way, we want to ensure you have the smoothest start possible. This quick guide will walk you through setting up your device, connecting to the app, and avoiding any potential hiccups. Let’s get started!

Powering Up Your Neuronic LIGHT

The first step is simple—powering on your device. Here’s how:

Press the power button once, and your Neuronic LIGHT will automatically enter pairing mode. You’ll notice the power button flashing white—this means it’s ready to connect!

Connecting to the Neuronic App

To make the most of your LIGHT, you’ll need to pair it with the Neuronic App on your smartphone. Follow these easy steps:

Enable Bluetooth on your phone—this step is easy to forget but crucial!
Check for updates in the App store—make sure you're using the latest version of the Neuronic App. If you experience any issues, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Why? Regular App updates will be released, and it’s important to keep the App up to date to ensure your LIGHT functions properly.
Update your firmware—once connected, you may be prompted to update your device’s firmware. This process only takes a few minutes and ensures your LIGHT operates at peak performance.

To manually check for updates:

  • Open the Neuronic App and log in
  • Connect the helmet with the app
  • Tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner
  • Select “Update Firmware”

What should I do if my Neuronic LIGHT’s power button is red?

This could indicate that there is an issue with the device receiving power. Try resetting the battery pack by fully charging it (4 lights will turn on the battery pack) and holding down the button for 10 seconds.

Important: Avoid Factory Resetting

We want to keep your Neuronic LIGHT running smoothly, so here’s one key DO NOT:

🚫 Do not manually factory reset your LIGHT device by holding the power button and quick start button together.

Why? We’ve discovered a rare firmware bug that can permanently disable Bluetooth if a manual reset is performed. This issue will be resolved in an upcoming update, but for now, please avoid resetting your device. If you encounter any problems, our support team is always ready to help!
