Our internal Consultants will review your qEEG in advance (often with a panel of other consultants) and explain observations and recommended protocols during your session.

Some of the other Consultants review client data on the screen during your session, in order to explain in real-time, how the analysis takes place and their observations.

The complimentary session is ideal for sharing with other family members. However, it is not practical to share the 30 minute sessions with more than one person. But we are happy to offer a discount if you purchase another package or membership.

Yes! You are encouraged to record the audio and video of your session.

Yes, you should receive a Session Note in your portal within a few days of your session that explains the protocol recommended by your Consultant. Please contact consultation@neuronic.online if you did not receive this Session Note.

Neuronic does not currently provide qEEG assessment services, and that the cost of obtaining a qEEG assessment can vary depending on location and other factors (approximately $200-$350). 

It's also worth noting that qEEG assessments are a medical test and may be eligible for coverage by Medicare or other third-party insurance if administered by a qualified practitioner authorized to bill for EEG acquisition (CPT-95816). If you have questions about insurance coverage or billing for a qEEG assessment, it may be helpful to speak with a qualified healthcare provider or insurance representative.

Your QEEG provider may have their own list. If they don’t, please read the following tips prior to your QEEG appointment. It is critically important for obtaining a valid quantitative EEG study of brain function that you follow the steps below prior to your QEEG recording. The brain mapping results are only as good as the recording, so it is imperative that you carefully follow each of the steps below:

If you are taking stimulant medication, check with your prescribing physician to determine if it is possible to stop taking the stimulants 48 hours prior to recording the QEEG. Do not make changes in any other medication, but be sure to bring medication type and dosage information to provide to the technician.

- Avoid taking any over the counter medication or supplements the day of or three to four days prior to the QEEG (ask QEEG provider for specifics).

- Do not drink coffee, tea, red bull, caffeinated soft drinks, or any other substance with caffeine less than 15 hours prior to the QEEG.

- Call to reschedule the QEEG if you are ill, even if you only have a cold.

- Be sure to get a good night’s sleep before the QEEG is done. Let the technician know if there has been any sleep disturbance.

- Drink plenty of water the day before the QEEG recording to hydrate the skin.

- The evening before your QEEG, wash your hair 3 times with a ph neutral shampoo, such as Neutrogena non-residue shampoo (available at CVS). Do not use crème or any hair products until after your appointment. Do not wash your hair again in the morning of your appointment.

- Make sure hair is completely dry before coming for the QEEG.

- Do not put any leave-on products on your hair, such as hair spray or gel of any kind the morning of your mapping. Also remove any hairpins or clasps.

- Use the restroom if you need prior to the start of the QEEG because the provider will not be able to stop once the recording begins.

- Remove any wearable dental appliances.

- Do your best to relax your face and jaw muscles while doing the scan to avoid clouding the data. This includes limiting eye movements on both eyes open and closed scans. Your technician should be monitoring this movement.

- Do not have anything in your mouth during the recording e.g. chewing gum, lozenges, mints, cough drops.

If your qEEG provider requests a release form before sending your qEEG information to Neuronic, please fill out this form and share it with your qEEG provider.

Please have your qEEG provider send us your EEG raw recording results to consultation@neuronic.online.

Neuronic's devices are not classified as medical devices by the FDA. Red light therapy devices have been FDA-approved for a growing list of conditions, including wound healing. Light therapy has been proven to be safe and effective over and over again.
